Good morning everyone to a lovely day in the Merchant City, our first working day post the long weekend holiday.  The sun is shining and we are sitting at a pleasant 13c at 9.30am.  Whilst there will be a bit of cloud with the sun, the temperature should climb to about 16/17c during the day, along with a light breeze and no chance of rain.  Have a great day whatever you are doing, GMCWS.

Good morning from the Merchant City in Glasgow.  Cloudy start to the day at 9c, but should improve with the sun out later in the day although still a bit of cloud, but an associated increase in temperature to potentially 17c.  Rain should stay off all day.  Have a great day from us here at the GMCWS.

Morning all, first day back working (from home) post Easter for the GMCWS staff.  Currently sunny if a little cool at 6c, it will peak at 12c but the sacrifice will be a little cloud.  No rain predicted though!  Have a great day peeps whatever you get up to (indoors…) GMCWS.

And we’re back from a rather long hiatus…!  The weather station is back up and running, so back to daily updates going forward.

Bit blowy in the merchant city this morning, along with cloud and light to medium rain.  However the good news is that the winds should die down later this morning and the rain will go off, with just light cloud cover and the occasional bit of blue sky for the balance of the day.  It is a bit nippy with temperatures not getting above single figures (celsius) so wrap up warm when you go out to do your once a day mandated exercise 😉

Good morning everyone.  Temperature 12 degrees Celsius and still relatively high winds, although more running 5 km/h with occasional gusts up to 10km/h, so not as bad as yesterday.  Cloudy start to the day also but with the potential for bits of blue sky but also passing showers, so bit of a mixed bag.  Have a great day.  GMCWS.

Aunty Em!  Aunty Em!  Not sure where the GMCWS is currently, but fairly sure we are not in Kansas anymore… cloudy start to today with squalls of rain and heavy showers, with the occasional bit of blue sky.  Temperature sitting at 14 degrees Celsius and not likely to get too much warmer, however the important thing is the wind.  Speeds of 12-20 km/h constant and much stronger gusts every so often are meaning if it’s not nailed down, it might not be where you left it!  If out and about today, be careful of any flying small debris such as roof tiles etc – stay safe.  GMCWS.
